Wild Brook Trout and Browns on Dry Flies — Colorado Pocket Water

I explored a new creek that I'd driven past countless times but never stopped to fish. I used a Dragontail Mizuchi Tenkara rod with a mini Chubby Chernobyl with purple body and high-vis parachute. It worked out great!

The fishing started slow, however the further I got upstream the more eager wild brook and brown trout I encountered, and not of the tiny kind:)

This was a perfect little jam of a stream, easily accessible for a quick morning session before work.

Ideal pocket water for Tenkara fly fishing!
