First signs of Fall, big horn sheep, and brook trout | Tenkara dry fly fishing

Mid August, 2026. I decided to take a quick trip to a high elevation mountain creek for some brookies on a dry fly. The weather cooperated mostly, and I got my fix:). Colorado has been in a record-breaking drought, therefore the higher elevation streams and lakes is where the fish are happiest and can be bothered!
